Technology the 24th Event. AT&T World Exhibition & Film. Los Angeles Olympic Games

At the California Museum of Science and Industry for the XXIII Olympiad, Technology the 24th Event, stressed the technological advances in Microelectronics, Lightwave, Computers, Software and New Information services at these games. A 15 projector audio-visual slide film unifies the themes

of the exhibit by juxtaposing the history of the Olympics with the growth of world-wide communications.

The Microelectronics Zone explores the impact of microelectronic structures on the present and the future. Dynamic random access memory chip, and microprocessor chips are demonstrated.

Hardware and software are dealt with in the Computer and Software Zone. A visitor can experience Writers Workbench on computers on touch-screen terminals that offer a wide variety of interactive information to the visitor.
